CardHawk is made by Tyler Lake Consulting. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your cards, your lists and your prices stay on your device and in your own iCloud account. We do not collect them, and we have no server that stores them.
Nothing. CardHawk has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no account on our servers. We cannot see your collection, your hunt list, what you watch, or what you buy.
Your collection, your hunt list, your price corrections, your settings and the app's own scan log are stored on your iPhone. If you sign in with Apple, that same data syncs through your private iCloud database so your devices agree. Apple provides that storage; we have no access to it.
Signing in is optional and exists only to sync your data between your own devices. We receive an anonymous Apple user identifier, and your name and email only if you choose to share them. We store these on your device to label the account. They are not sent anywhere else.
When you start the watcher, iOS screen recording sends the screen to CardHawk so it can read card names, numbers and prices. This happens entirely on your iPhone. Nothing from your screen is uploaded, recorded to a file we can read, or shared. You control it: recording runs only while you start it, and the status bar shows it is on.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether a subscription is active.
CardHawk is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. To remove synced data, sign out in Settings, or delete CardHawk's data from iCloud in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
